I can’t go past a simple strawberry banana smoothie- throw a banana, handful of strawberries, yoghurt and milk in a blender and blend- yum! (the kids love them too lol) 🙂
My Kids just love a mango and Banana smoothie with lots of ice-cream and ice!!
Im going to have to go with one that is an all time fave, it *may* be an adaptation from some other juice company though…. i don’t have measurements….. just chuck it in till it looks good!
Banana
Strawberries
Frozen vanilla yogurt
Milk
Ice
mmmmm my mouth is watering!
My boys love frozen watermelon(just blended and then popped into the freezer), they also love banana and honey smoothies(1 banana, squirt of honey, milk, plain yoghurt and sprinkle of cinnamon).
My daughter’s favourite smoothie is mango, ice, vanilla yogurt, banana, sprinkle of lsa and mango juice/ nectar, perfect for a snack and cool drink in one on a hot day 🙂

170g “squeezy” or small tub vanilla yogurt
Handful ice cubes

My little mate loves a savoury mix: you take a sausage (I know I know, but he truly loves it) blended with a handful of mixed vegies (his faves are peas, carrots and spinach) and a little tomato (either fresh or passata)! He completely adores it – I remove the skin from the sausage – haven’t tried it with any other snags than beef, but am sure that would be good too 🙂
great idea!
Our little family love mashed sweet potato, a dash of cinamon mixed with coconut milk or coconut cream. Great as a side dish 🙂
My boys go mad for my almond milk, banana, and chia seed smoothies. Of course it has to be out of a squooshie, or a cup with a straw, nothing else will cut it!
green monster smoothie – (best way to hide greens without your kids knowing) – i modify mine all the time i make it but basically it is – frozen banana (can also add frozen strawberries and/or frozen mango and/or frozen blueberry) and greens (such as kale, cos lettuce, baby spinach) – the trick however is not to put too much green so it changes the taste too far away from banana lol (a little bit of green is better than none – so start off with a small handful and add more if u can get away with it lol) , i also sometimes add goji berries to it also. If you really want to add dairy (i dont but you could always add a little milk or yoghurt to it). Blend it all up and call it a green monster smoothie (my kids at first would not drink it as it was green but as soon i as i called it that they loved it) 🙂 It can be as thick or as thin as you want it to be also 🙂
My little man loves Fruit Custard! I peel and chop 1 apple and 1 peach, add to a saucepan with 2-3 tablespoons of water and simmer until soft, then mash or blend to a smooth consistency. In another saucepan mix 1 tablespoon of custard powder to 1/2 cup milk, stir until thickened and smooth, then add the fruit puree and mix until combined. I often mix up the combination of fruit used, and love the fact that fruit is used to add the sweetness to the custard, rather than adding sugar or artificial sweetners.
My daughter just couldn’t pass up my layered fruit and yoghurt squeezie. Add a little pureed fruit of you choice, then layer next with some vanilla flavoured greek yoghurt. Repeat with as many different layers as you like. It’s then up to the kids to mix it all up by squishing the tube or trying to carefully eat each defined layer! An occasional biscuit crumb, coconut or ground toasted oat and almond layer was also a hit!

I love my sneaky smoothie, banana, vanilla yoghurt, silken tofu and wheat germ. My boys love it and have no idea how good it is at filling up their little tummies 😉
Our favourite is mango, frozen mixed berries, a banana, dash of vanilla essence, ice cream or ice mmmm mmmm my girls love helping make them too 🙂
Mixed berries, banana, natural yoghurt and LSA with splash of milk and/or handful of ice. All whizzed together.
Great frozen as a treat too, sell it as ice cream and they’re none the wiser!
my kids love good old fashioned custard and jelly!! with 4 kids under 5 we are busy but my youngest “Gus” just loves my Roast Vege, Meat & Apple Sauce mix! Roasted Potato, Sweet Potato, Garlic, Pumpkin, Carrot with Broccoli, Homemade Apple Sauce and Meat (Beef, Chicken, Lamb or Pork), pureed with whizz stick. Sometimes I add chicken stock or Homemade Gravy. There are always leftovers so to have a squooshi or 2 would be awesome 😉
My son LOVES this meal and he has it for breakfast quite often- A few spoons of natural yoghurt with half an avocado and half a pear. You mash (or puree) it up and away you go. It’s so healthy and super yummy! You can also add Farex to it.
My 8 month old loves, spinach, zuchini and brocili blended up, or chicken and creamed corn blended. They are his 2 win win foods, happy bubba happy mumma.
Our favourite recipes for squishes are mango ,banana ,pineapple ,apple juice and ice
Pineapple watermelon and orange juice with ice
My darling daughter favours roasted pumpkin with steamed zucchini purée for mains and banana and pear purée for dessert.
Best part is I found myself eating the same foods as her, when introducing her to solids as encouragement, and I’ve lost weight! Yummy healthy food habits for the whole family 🙂

My 8 month old daughter loves her pumpkin and sweet potato mash,I sometimes add carrot and grated cheese for a little bit of variety and usually cook the vegies in a bit of chicken stock.
Im a puree lover!!!! Whilst my girls were little Id puree everyting…simple veg mixes to the more extreme of puree up lasagne. Brand names have puree everything so just make your own n whiz puree!!! Favourite would be basic Ratatoullie (spelling!?). Egg plant peel n fryed off in small chunks. Either tintomatoes mixed through or make your own tomatoes but remove skin. Add your own choices of herbs. Boil pasta so its super soft. Mix all n blend. Add cheese while blending or as they get older add cheese when serving.
frozen fruit with frozen coconut milk whizzed in the Thermomix.
Mango, Yougurt (generally strawberry) Ice, Milk and Honey Smoothies – my two girls LOVE them!!! And with plenty stock of Mango in the freezer from the season we can enjoy them all year round!
My kids love homemade bandanna and date custard would be their all time favourite!!!! Yummy and healthy xoxo
Pineapple Yogurt smoothie:
4 ice cubes
¼ medium sized pineapple
200g natural yogurt
Place the ice cubes in the blender and whiz. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. You can also add a bit of ginger to make it a touch more refreshing, but I really don’t like ginger.
The favourite smoothie in my house is banana strawberry smoothies.
1 banana a handful of strawberries a couple of spoonfuls of yogurt and a dash of chia seeds for some extra nutrients. My daughter loves these.
my kids love youghurt – I have enjoyed reading everyones posts – some great ideas to get vegies into my fussy little man!
My Fave is Quinoa flakes (to a porridge consistency) with a sprinkle of cinnamon powder, Chia seeds, some pot set honey Greek yoghurt, and a bit of fruit puree ( I usually have ice cubes of pureed fruits in the freezer, depending on fruit was going soft and not eaten at the time). Filling and yummy!
